After a leisurely breakfast, we head off to Anuradhapura, the sacred town of Sri Lanka, the birthplace of Sinhala civilization. It was the capital of Sri Lanka from fifth century Bc to ad 1017.when many parts of the world were emerging from the stone age, Anuradhapura had already become an advanced civilization. Merchants of the city traded from all round the world, citizens had sophisticated systems of man-made lakes and canals and structure of the town was well-planned. The place has been marked by Ptolemy in his first ever map. Famous monk travelers Fa Hien and buddha Ghosha of the fifth century have also mentioned Anuradhapura in their relics. Places of interest – Aukana buddha, Thuparama guard stone, Isurumuniya temple Ruwanweli Saya, Jethawana monastery, Abhayagiri monastery, & the museum. Time permitting; we will visit Mihintale & Ritigala as well. Breakfast & overnight stay at the hotel.

Early breakfast at your hotel, and proceed to Kandy. En route, visit the orphanage at Pinnawala.the orphanage was established to feed nurse and house young elephants. Visit the lake in the centre of the city, Kandy. & the great Kandyan bazaar and finish with the. Temple of the sacred tooth relic of Buddha. Proceed to – Nuwara Eliya  from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya the road starts to ascend steadily. At the highest point, we’ll climb to 1,500 meters. Make a brief stopover in the  tea country & beneath your eyes you’ll see tea plantations and small speckled white tea factories. We’ll point out waterfalls, rice fields and vegetable plantations etc. You will also have the opportunity to visit a working tea factory, where you will be taught how to become a tea expert and you can taste test the world-renowned Ceylon tea. The resort town of Nuwara Eliya which is also called little England is situated 2070 m above sea level. Breakfast & overnight stay at the hotel.

Start your day with a delightful breakfast and then visit the Bentota turtle hatchery. Enjoy a date with nature at its best during a boat cruise on the Madu river, which offers an exceptional view of the country’s skyline and the water right in front of you. End the day with a good night’s sleep at the hotel.

Relish a delicious breakfast, and then travel to Colombo. After having relaxed at the hotel, we head for a sightseeing tour of the national capital. During this, you will visit some of the most prominent attractions of the city including gall face green, the national museum, Viharamahadevi park, fort, old parliament, world trade center, independence and numerous shrines. You will also get an opportunity to shop during the day, which we suggest, you utilize to the fullest. Following the comprehensive exploration and retail therapy, retire to the hotel.
